- EXPLOSIVE GROWTH OF CHRISTIANITY IS CHANGING CHINA
Communist rulers in China have radically altered their views about
religion and as a result, Christianity is growing in China as never
before. The caveat is that the closely limited new freedoms are only
granted to those Christians willing to worship in government-
sanctioned churches. The director general of the State Administration
for Religious Affairs, Wang Zuo An, was quoted as saying there are now
at least 20 million Christians in China worshipping in the state-
sanctioned church.
"Such growth is unprecedented in the history of Christianity in China.
Christianity is enjoying its best period of growth in China," he said,
adding that, "On the question of whether there is God, the Chinese
Communist Party believes there is no God in the world." Rev. John
Zhang, a Catholic priest, said: "Some officials say, 'You have done
for Chinese society what we cannot do. Without any political
involvement, the Church is doing a good job, and we from government
appreciate it.'"
The report noted that house – or underground – churches remain a
"significant part of the Chinese Christian landscape," but "both the
Catholic and Protestant churches sanctioned by the state are now also
seeing levels of growth that few predicted in the 1980s." Said one
young Chinese Christian student, "I think this nation will change, and
I think God is doing great things in China."

I love fall foliage. I see within this season thee unfailing faith of Gods promises becoming visible. Is Gods hand a wave of empathy? For it seems whatever Gods breath touches is clay within the potters hands. The loving touch of this potters hands blesses the lives of his children.
With morning light I see his hands have been painting the leaves in vibrant colors of; red, yellow, orange. Even the shades of brown are beautiful. Evidence of the diligence of his love in watching over me while i sleep. My faith encouraged by what I see. So with confidence in his love I will sleep with peace within after turning over my worries to him for the night.
To sit upon a bench and watch the people strolling upon the city streets. I see you walk with purpose of unknown destiny. Yet do you see within your midst what God has created through the leaves of the tree you just walked past? In faith is thee ability given to see God.
Hello little ones. The leaves upon the stem have heard the calling of the season of fall. Some would say they are dying, but I am not as certain as they are that this is the meaning of your fall song of colors. I see you fulfilling the purpose of your destiny! For the tree will be the vine to many generations of leaves.
I see within the tree a lesson of its purpose being an example of; Christ is the vine to generations of Gods children.
The Lords blessings are shared with everyone. Those with faith and those with none he loves patiently and calls relentlessly to us for his love is faithful and his promises certain. However it is through faith we have the ability to see God.

- NORTH KOREA REMAINS NUMBER ONE PERSECUTOR OF CHRISTIANS
North Korea has topped the list of nations that most persecutes
Christians for the sixth year in a row. There is no other country in
the world where Christians are being persecuted in such a horrible and
relentless way. The kingdom of Saudi Arabia holds a solid number two
place, followed closely by Iran. Maldives is number four. New at
number five is Bhutan, moving a few places up from number seven last
year, mainly because Somalia and Yemen saw a decrease in
persecution.
The number six spot is taken by Yemen, whose position did not change
in spite of a slight drop on the persecution scale. Afghanistan rose
from number 10 to number 7. Laos saw little change in religious
freedom last year, but it moved up one place, from number nine to
number eight. Two new countries entered the Top Ten: Uzbekistan at
number nine and China number ten. Uzbekistan was number eleven last
year and China number twelve. Islam is the majority religion in six of
the top 10 countries: Saudi Arabia, Iran, Maldives, Afghanistan, Yemen
and Uzbekistan.
Three countries have communist governments: North Korea, Laos and
China. Bhutan is the only Buddhist country in the Top 10. Countries
are ranked according to the intensity of persecution Christians face
for pursuing their faith. More Christians were arrested in North Korea
last year than the year before. Many have been beaten, tortured or
killed because of their religious beliefs. Local sources estimates the
number of underground Christians to be at least 200,000, but more
likely around 400,000 to 500,000 believers. At least a quarter of
North Korean Christians are in prison.
In Saudi Arabia, under the kingdom's strict interpretation of Islamic
law, conversion to another religion is punishable by death if the
accused does not recant. In Iran, where Islam is the official
religion, Christians are supposedly guaranteed religious freedom,
however they have reported imprisonment, harassment and discrimination
because of their faith. The status of religious freedom deteriorated
in countries like Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, Jordan, Belarus and
the Palestinian Territories but improved in Somalia, Vietnam, Burma,
Ethiopia and Colombia.

When you look at the truly great men and women whose lives are chronicled in Scripture, you can see the journey they had to take to become who they were created to become. Take David. It is said of David, "[God] brought him from tending the sheep so he could lead the flock, the people of Jacob, his own people of Israel. And David led them with an innocent heart and guided them with skillful hands" (Ps. 78:71-72, NCV). In other words, God used the years of shepherding sheep with all of its particular skills and hardships to impart to David a trained heart and trained hands so that he could do what God had created him to do.
If anyone might have been the exception to the journey, it would have been Jesus. But it was said of Jesus that he "grew in wisdom and stature, and favor with God and man" (Luke 2:52, NIV). So, he was not an exception to the process either. Jesus said, "A student is not above his teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like his teacher" (Luke 6:40, NIV). We must be fully trained, becoming more like Jesus, and take the place in the Greater Story that we have been created for.
There are no shortcuts.Dear Lord, show me what role I am to play in your Greater Story; help me to use my gifts and skills to glorify you.

| SPIRITUAL FREEDOM: Freedom and liberty is the will of Christ for every believer, we have
freedom for the reasons, we are born of the Spirit, we are citizens of
the Kingdom of God, for the reason of the blood of Christ, for the
reason of the Word of God, and for the reason of the Holy Spirit in
our lives. –(Gal. 5:1)
Unfortunately, some Christians are in bondage, and oppressed by debts,
iniquity, demons, and religion. Today is the day of your salvation,
deliverance, and liberty and freedom has come. –(LK. 4:18)
First and foremost, you must know who you are in Christ, and that you
are in Christ, and that God loves you, and you are in the Father’s
hand. Believe the work of the Cross and the Resurrection, you are
already redeem in Christ, we have redemption through the Blood of
Christ. –(Col. 1:12-14)
Secondly you can be free from iniquity, you don’t have to be
controlled by a life of sin, and the Holy Spirit can set you free.
Iniquity is a sin that you commit and that over time becomes a life
style. First of all believe that Christ loves you, and you already are
free, believe in the power of His grace, and believe that you are save
by faith, not by good deeds, then confess, ask for forgiveness, and
repent of such sins, then seek help, from those who can aid you in
your freedom and deliverance. –(1 Jn. 1:7,9)
Thirdly you can be free from the control of demons, you can be free
from the influence of demons, pray and seek for deliverance and inner
healing, Ask the Lord to lead you to whole deliverance and freedom,
begin by repenting of sins, identification's repentance, breaking the
legal grounds, repent of lies that you might have believed, pray for
the Lord to show you each demon, and then bind, cast them out, and
then cast them into hell, then close the doors and gates, bind them
and cast them into hell, replace then with doors and gates of Heaven
and the Kingdom of God, then pray for inner healing, pray for those
areas to be filled with the fruits of the Holy Spirit, the Holy
Spirit, and grace. –(Matt. 7:3-5)
Fourthly you can be free from financial debts. Pray to the Lord to
lead you out of financial debts, repent to the Lord for being in debt,
seek help and financial advice, write out a game plan, and then begun
with baby steps, and be faithful to those steps. –(Lev. 25:12, 30)
Fifthly you can be free from the control and influence of religion,
and religious spirits. The Church is to be the Priesthood of the
Kingdom of God, and our Lord Jesus Christ is our Mediator, not man,
not men, not a religion, not a pastor, and not a local church. Your
faith and relationship with Christ is between you and Christ; pastors,
ministers and other believers are to support and aid but not control
that relationship. Pray for freedom, pray for the Lord to lead you to
freedom don’t listen or receive ministers that try to control your
faith in Christ, instead find churches, and pastors who support and
aid your relationship in Christ. –(Gal. 3:1-9)
Furthermore, I believe the Holy Spirit is speaking to many out there
around the world; He is speaking freedom and liberty to you. I ask you
to begun to call upon the Lord and seek Him to lead you to
deliverance, freedom, and liberty. –(Joel 2:32)
Conclusion, The will of Christ is freedom, and liberty, and in this
freedom, and liberty we have restoration and progression, and in this
freedom, and liberty we are to love one another and walk in this
freedom, and liberty in loving one another in Christ. –(Gal. 5:13-14) |

Hosted in Sweden for the first time in 55 years, the triennial event was held Tuesday through Friday with a focus on equipping churches for spiritual leadership in the next century. Speakers included Brian Houston, pastor of Hillsong Church in Australia; Young Hoon Lee, pastor of Yoido Full Gospel Church in Korea; and German evangelist Reinhard Bonnke. "We need the wind of the Spirit to sweep over the Pentecostal movement to renew the evangelistic zeal and empower us for the challenges of this century," said Bishop James Leggett, former general superintendent of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC) and chairman of the host organization, the Pentecostal World Fellowship (PWF). Members of most of the classical Pentecostal denominations were present, including leaders from the Church of God (Cleveland, Tenn.), Church of God of Prophecy, Assemblies of God (AG) and IPHC. Jack Hayford of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, spoke during daytime sessions, along with Oral Roberts University President Mark Rutland, Swedish pastor Ulf Ekman, and Magnus Persson, pastor of United church in Malmo, Sweden, and Copenhagen, Denmark. The Pentecostal World Conference, held at Stockholm's historic Filadelfia Church led by Niklas Piensoho, drew roughly 2,000 participants, including a sizeable number of emerging leaders. Pentecostalism, which grew out of the Azusa Street Revival in 1906, has become one of the largest Christian movements in the world, representing a quarter of the world's 2 billion Christians. In the US, roughly 25 percent of all Christians identify themselves as Pentecostal or charismatic, according to a Barna Group study released earlier this year. Today most of the movement's growth is in Africa, Asia and Latin America, an area known as the Global South, but it has slowed in the West. "We see a huge growth in Africa, Asia and Latin America, but in the US and Europe, it is still or going backwards with some exceptions," Leggett told the Swedish Christian newspaper Världen Idag. "To reverse the trend in the West, we must come up with an alternative to what this world offers." During his address on the opening night of the event Tuesday, Leggett challenged Pentecostals to reclaim their faith in the Holy Spirit. "We need an experience like the disciples [who] were in the Upper Room at Pentecost," he said, according to Världen Idag. "And then we also need to leave the church and take to the streets and give of what we got. ... We as a movement was created and formed in the supernatural, and we must continue to live in it."
